For those that deserve to know the truth:

Issues related with FUTABA FASST:

http://2.4gigahertz.com/techsupport/service-advisory-tm7-7c-6ex.html

I will buy Airtronics for sure.

Believe it or not, i'm agree with the report encountered in this site:

http://www.rcmodelreviews.com/rcupdate.shtml

Airtronics 2.4GHz

Believe it or not, the Airtronic system appears to have been virtually problem-free at this stage.

No reboot issues, no temperature related problems, no unexplained shoot-downs.

I'll be keeping a close eye on this gear over the coming months and once they actually get a decent transmitter in the loop, I'll buy one for review. The current 8000 transmitter is woefully inadequate when compared to the equivalent Futaba or JR offerings and the system is not available as a module-based upgrade to other RC systems.

Ok, in fact, even when Futaba was one of the first that really put out a reliable 2.4 GHz product, i can see actually in some forums on the internet that they have had serious problems with their radios, but don´t give any explanation to his clients all over the world, a fact that surprisingly diminshes the reputation of Futaba an his sponsors. Another remarcable thing is that in towerhobbies some of the 7C 2.4 GHz from Futaba they will be available until June, this sound to rare to me. In general, they are not thinking in the price and the value of an airplane for sure.

So this information are really important to me about what product will be buy, and of course will be an Airtronics Radio.

Thanks a lot and best regards.

Airtronics don´t pay to me anything on what will say, but i need to tell you costumers out there:

If you search comparisons between Futaba and Airtronics, the reliability of Airtronics wins all the time. Any person actually on the forums in the internet have a complain of the RDS8000.

Thanks, sincerely Rafael Marmolejo

Best regards.

1. Yes, the servos from Futaba are compatible with Airtronics.

2. Futaba and Airtronics are using similar technologies. NOT the same, but smilar. We are frequency hopping thus we are very well protected from interference. Obviously we think ours is better, that's why we chose it. But objectively, it would seem that overall they are probably both extremely reliable. Otherwise you'd have planes falling from the sky all over... Think of the thousands upon thousands that have been sold!

Why we think ours is great.

a-We have fantastic range. The SD-10G is testing at over 2.0 miles
b-Our system is fast. In side-by-side tests, we're something like 20-60% faster according to which system you compare ours to.

Hello, i'm very interested in buy an airtronics radio system and have various doubts.

1) Is the sanwa receiver compatible with futaba servos?

2) Is airtronics better than futaba or what are the basic differences between them?

Thanks, best regards
